ASCENSION NUMÉRIQUE Scholarship Program

Cumberland College wishes to support and encourage access to higher education with the ASCENSION NUMÉRIQUE scholarship program. The program makes it possible to receive a scholarship of up to $3000, depending on the student’s results and course attendance. Please note that all eligible students receive a minimum scholarship of $250 each semester, regardless of results and/or course attendance.

Scholarship ASCENSION NUMÉRIQUE $3000

To be eligible, candidates must complete their admission between June 17 and August 15, 2022, AND start classes on September 6, 2022.

Created to promote excellence in terms of involvement, attendance and academic results, the ASCENSION NUMÉRIQUE will allow the most committed candidates to obtain up to $3000  in scholarship funding, according to the following conditions:

Here are the main conditions to uphold in order to maintain your status as a ASCENSION NUMÉRIQUE bursary recipient:


1. Submit a short testimonial video (30 to 60 seconds) telling the world about your choice of program
2. Reach the minimum mark of 80% in each of the courses of your program
3. Maintain a minimum attendance rate of 75%
4. Complete your program of studies without any interruption

How does it work?

  1. Candidates must attend a meeting with our Admissions team
  2. Candidates must document the admission file
  3. Candidates must sign the Educational Services Agreement
  4. Candidates must pay the e-registration fee ($250.00)
  5. Candidates must submit a short video BEFORE beginning their training
  6. Eligibility will be confirmed after receipt of the video
  7. Candidates agree to complete the study program WITHOUT INTERRUPTION
  8. Candidates must maintain a minimum attendance rate of 75% for each course in the session; if the student fails to maintain the minimum attendance, they will receive the minimum amount ($250.00)
  9. Applicants must achieve a minimum grade of 80% for each course in the semester; if the student fails to meet the minimum grade, they will receive the minimum amount ($250.00)
  10. The scholarship is disbursed in 4 installments (1 per session)

    Session 1: $250

    Session 2: $750 if the minimum result of 80% and a minimum attendance of 75% are met (or $250 if those minimums are not met)

    Session 3: $1000 if the minimum result of 80% and a minimum attendance of 75% are met (or $250 if those minimums are not met)

    Session 4: $1000 if the minimum result of 80% and a minimum attendance of 75% are met (or $250 if those minimums are not met)

  11. Any interruption of studies is in contravention of the general conditions and will result in the complete interruption of scholarship payments
  12. Candidates undertake to become ambassadors and participate in at least 1 recruitment event
  13. The grant is not transferable or redeemable for cash and it is not possible to postpone to a later session
