Why Study Digital Marketing?​

With digital marketing growing rapidly and changing constantly, career opportunities are expanding at an equally quick rate. In fact, 4 in 10 marketing jobs now require digital skills, and that number is only expected to climb as promotional activity increasingly takes place online.

If you’re looking to gain the sought-after skills that employers are looking for, education is the first step. Leading to an Attestation of Collegial Studies (ACS), our diploma program will increase your eligibility for general digital marketing positions such as marketing assistant, digital marketing specialist, and digital media coordinator. You can also gain entry into specific fields related to SEO, social media management, content marketing, email marketing, web analytics, and more.

At Cumberland College, we understand that the digital marketing industry is diverse and ever-changing, and our ACS in digital marketing provides students with the cutting-edge knowledge they need to embark on a wide range of career paths.

Digital Marketing Careers

Cumberland College graduates are eligible for coordinator and specialist positions in up-and-coming digital fields such as social media, e-commerce, digital media, and more. You will also be equipped to work in advertising, marketing, and public relations agencies .

Our Digital Marketing Diploma Program

Cumberland’s diploma program is designed with career success in mind. With a hands-on learning model and focus on practical assignments, our digital marketing program is designed to provide students with the up-to-minute career training that prospects need to succeed in today’s digital world. All courses are also taught by marketing experts who actively work in the field.
Offered in either English or French, our program covers a wide range of digital marketing topics – from analytics to paid advertising and search engine optimization – to help you become a successful marketing professional with a multifaceted skill set. The program comprises a total of 900 tuition hours over the course of 16 months, with no more than 20 hours per week of classroom time.
Financial aid, including loans and bursaries, may be available from the Quebec Provincial Government to help you finance your studies. Eligibility is determined by the MEES (Ministère de l’Éducation de l’Enseignement supérieur).
