Admissions Requirements for International Students
Who Can Apply?
Cumberland College is an open, welcoming institution, with programs geared toward students from many different backgrounds and with a variety of educational goals. Our aim is for students to take their program of choice and use it to launch an exciting new career, as well as provide them with a rewarding educational experience.
To be admitted to a program offered by the College, the candidate must meet the following conditions:
- Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent AND
- Be fluent in English or French
Students need to have succeeded an international language proficiency test in English or French. Multiple official tests are accepted: IELTS, CELPIP, TOEFL, Duolinguo, TEF, TEFAQ, TFI or DELF. Please consult the CIC website for precise Study Permit requirements.
Students also need to be 18 or over at the moment of starting your program to be accepted at Cumberland College.
Documentation for International Students
Cumberland College’s 16-month AEC in Digital Marketing is fully accredited by Ministère l’Enseignement supérieur, meaning admitted students are eligible to apply for a permit to live in Montreal for the duration of their studies.
International students need to obtain the following documents before starting their program:
- Valid Certificat d’Acceptation du Québec (CAQ)
- Valid Study Permit
- Health insurance
