When we asked Patrick how Cumberland College accommodates the various needs of the students, he replied “We offer personalized guidance to all candidates before they apply for admission, as it is very important that candidates base their decision on the most accurate information, but it doesn’t stop there.”
He went on to tell us about the ongoing support students receive even after the admission process. “Each candidate is offered assistance at every step, according to their needs. It could be to assist them in completing the application for admission, verify their eligibility to receive financial assistance, or login to the first class,” Patrick noted. The admissions administration understands the ongoing administrative details that come up throughout your digital marketing courses, and their services are made available for any support you may need along the way.
Verify Your Financial Assistance Eligibility With Cumberland College
Patrick told us about an important step that Cumberland College has taken in order to be eligible for additional financing for its students, which was getting accredited by the Quebec Ministry of Education. He went on to say that “many of our Canadian students qualify to receive financial assistance from the ministry’s Financial Assistance program.”
Don’t worry about figuring out your eligibility, as Patrick said that “candidates are invited to contact us to verify their eligibility.” They even added an extra team member, who Patrick said “is now assisting students with their financial aid needs. She can assist in completing the financial aid application.”
Cumberland College has a properly staffed admissions team that takes care of students earning their digital marketing diploma. Each candidate is assisted individually, based on their personal needs, to find the right funding opportunities for their program.
Top Advice for Students Seeking Financial Aid
Patrick told us that “the main challenge for financial assistance applicants is to provide all the required supporting documents.” He recommends that each student dive a little deeper into their documentation in order to avoid any delays or missed eligibility requirements. Specifically, he said “my advice would be to come prepared, documented, with every document related to their citizenship status as well as their marital status.”
Patrick’s final piece of advice for receiving financial assistance? Speak with your employer. He says he would “invite all candidates to consider involving their employer in their decision, providing the training will allow them to acquire skills that will benefit their company.”
